Review outstanding recommendations in Jira and address them in a timely manner (less than 90 days).

See notes below for the link in Jira.

Recommendations can be addressed once a plan is in place and work to address it has begun. It’s also ok to state that you’re NOT going to implement it and why.

Details:

Agenda:

  • Reporting

  • Risk Review

  • Project Change Requests

  • Recommendations

  • Staff Publications

Discussions on Recommendations are worth noting here:

Don’t forget to address Recommendations as quickly as possible!

RY4 RP2: Addressed 27 recommendations (great!), but only 13 of those were addressed within 90 days.

43 open recommendations currently. All are more than 90 days old.

    • Project Level: 2

    • CEE: 13

    • ECSS: 24

    • XCI: 1

    • Ops: 1

    • RAS: 0

    • PgO: 2

In IPR11, hopefully we will have fewer recommendations that will be more than 90 days, and then the following quarter we will do even better.

Some of the recommendations are not recognized, and thus, we don't know what needs to be done. John suggested that some of them may have come from XAB, and we could ask XAB for clarification. As for the remaining recommendations, we should all review them, figure out where they came from and if necessary ask the sources what needs to be done. Everyone should have access to Jira, and click on the link to get more details. Sometime details can be found in XAB meeting notes, or from reports.
