Education – Kate - Advanced Computing for Social Change hoping to implement virtual approaches for those sessions at PEARC should that be needed.

- The faculty workshops for the summer (computational chemistry – mt. st. mary’s college) – going to be remote; the workshop at Michigan State is cancelled; Wofford College would like to have a session this summer - intro to computational science – will be remote.
- EMPOWER – spring students will submit progress report soon; for summer program, mentor applicants can submit how they will adjust to remote mentoring (updating their submissions); reviewing mentor and student apps starting Monday; targeting 5/1 to notify applicants.

- Went to Albany State and it was fruitful and they are waiting for a proposal – part of Florida – theme for their renewal in data science – would like to partner with us – exciting as it will allow for a broad reach to students.
- Will identify how to reach students/faculty for PEARC once they know if it will be virtual or not.
