- Made 70+ contacts at SacNas conference – 4-5 people provided unsolicited testimonials about how much they loved XSEDE; CIOs (South Carolina, USC, Delaware) were raving about XSEDE; need to figure out how to capture the unsolicited testimonials and share it.
- There are some metrics that seem off that are not KPIs; likely going to have a meeting to discuss.
- EMPOWER applications closed 11/1; do not have the number yet.

- UE finished with IPR and at 96%; one issue outstanding that will be resolved soon.
- Sending out approximately 39 emails to those rejected at last XRAC to find out what their plans are and figure out how we can best serve these folks.
- Would it be worth it to do a scan of the allocation language? To ensure all who can apply recognize that they can/should.
- NSF unconscious bias training – engage Ken to see if reviewers should go through this training once per year.
- Need to look to see if there is a bias even occurring.
- What percent who get rejected resubmit? What would be beneficial to get them to resubmit?
- Broadening Participation – Linda
- Computing4Change participating at SC19, leveraging more XSEDE resources; good webinars; 20 students, 5/6 mentors participating; having ER help promote for the lightning talks with students.
- Preparing for Saturday trainings with Cal State LA for spring.
- Having training for their 4 campuses - Clark Atlanta University.
- Participating in Emerging Researchers conference.

- Champions leadership team had a retreat a few weeks ago in Dallas, TX – great meeting; various working groups evolved from 2018 climate survey.

- Prepping for onboarding for 2020.
