    • Reporting – still waiting on numbers,
    • Need to take on to end of slides for PIs and users for underrepresented communities for PY6 (Linda and Rosie)
    • XAB: overall, very positive of CEE; critique was more that we don’t highlight what goes on in our area enough
    • Review:
      • Dana and Henry: any forward movement on sustainability, please highlight
      • Maytal: any images of look and feel for the website redesign; also identity management (did front end development but had to wait on Globus)
      • UE: taking a very active stance on contacting users; ability to scale up with such a small number of people; cannot be overstated how important this interaction is; Chris keeps a document with user comments and should add any of these to the UE and any that are XSEDE wide should be brought to JT’s attention
      • Training: willing to change our targets; need to make clear for all of the training materials, useful to know how much is proactively developed as a set of emerging needs vs leveraging training that already exists at other sites
      • Education: if there are any instances in which we’ve made headways into the curriculum itself, Kelly needs a list of those (needs to be able to speak to those at any point in time); Kate definitely has a list (New Mexico State just added)
      • BP/Student Programs: Any where the social change has been written up? Need to get this written up; Have you mentioned in the report/highlight all the places that you have gone (Marques, Rosie and Linda)
  • WBS area updates
    • Workforce Development – Chris/Kelly
      • Training – Susan
        • Highlights have been entered into the report
        • Switch over to the new data collection; as of reporting for this quarter, was able to pull the data out of the database herself
        • Workshops, badges, etc all going well
        • New review process: first reviews are coming in now
      • Student Programs – Rosie
        • Working on getting the reporting numbers; need clarification on users who are students
      • Education – Jennifer
        • Completed review process for EMPOWER students; extended invites to 10 students and waitlisted 1 student;
    • User Engagement – Chris
      • Sent out about 2100 emails to contact all PIs; have received about 16o responses with 53 actionable items; 40 have been resolved so far;
      • For next year, wants to change how tracking
      • Starting to look at user forums
    • Broadening Participation – Linda
      • Diversity Forum charter is now in Kelly’s hands
      • Jackson State workshop happening now
      • A few more trips in terms of campus visits
    • UII – Maytal
      • Website redesign: initial date of June 1st deadline is concerning with the review; working on getting updated content
    • Campus Engagement – Dana and Henry
      • Henry is doing a grant proposal writing apprenticeship;
      • Working on sustainability plan – getting more organized
      • Culling email lists: people are lurking on lists and the question has come up as to why they are lurking and do not want to be champions; working on changing this attitude that they will be required to do XSEDE work; thinking about moving the champions off the XSEDE website
      • RDR: extending beyond XSEDE staff and resources
      • Feedback received from NSF: education and workforce development, mentioned idea encouraging intra-state collaboration; NSF director turned and said why don’t we encourage all of our EPSCOR institutions to do that
  • No labels
