    • Not a date update: however, there has been a Zoom issue discovered when using the registration form for a Zoom call. The resolution was to have the participant simply call in to the meeting as opposed to using their computer (may be relevant for Susan/Linda training sessions).
  • Updates
    • Director’s Office – Kelly
      • Risks will be updated as needed.
      • Solicitation has been released; a number of CEE components not included in solicitation.
    • Workforce Development – Linda
        • EMPOWER: going well; wrapped up fall program in December - one student won poster contest at National Society of Black Physicists; 49 undergrads applied - 23 selected for spring (13 Female; 9 underrepresented ethnicities); Spring students started projects and will turn in progress reports this Friday; Recruiting for summer program for students and mentors; Aaron wrote an abstract for SC20 and recently published.
      • Education – Kate Cahill  
        • Applications for parallel computing course – most institutions have started their course; Moodle is up and running; Education allocation is active and in use (just on bridges this year); Planning spring and summer faculty workshops (curriculum) and when to be held.
      • Student Programs – Rosie
        • 120 undergrad and graduate students enrolled in workshop – 50 attended; Identifying those conferences to be exhibiting – likely virtually.
      • Training – Susan
        • Badges continue to be rolled out and linked to more material; CI tutor nearly totally moved to moodle; Monthly workshops still moving forward – good participation; Need to re-do YouTube materials; Roadmaps: keep rolling out the roadmaps; Workshop materials continually to be rolled out.
        • Terminology task force: getting message out re: importance of working on terminology; Getting a solid list of terms and an understanding of the types of terms that should be on list; Looking to get a broader review of list/terms (e.g., XAB and/or User Community).
    • User Engagement – Bryan
      • Reaching out to PIs quarterly as normal.
    • Broadening Participation – Linda 
      • Curator of how to increase diversity in hiring resource/paper – on wiki page; Lizanne and Linda putting together a proposal re: inclusive leadership training and a process of how to rollout diversity and inclusion training; Working on module in a box – in testing at University of Puerto Rico – will be turned into curriculum.
      • Cal state LA letter of collaboration submitted to NSF.
