Travel Details

Please ensure your travel plans accommodate the following points:

    • Participants are expected to arrive in time to attend the final dry-run review on Mon. June 10 at 12:00 PM (EST).
    • All participants should plan to stay in Alexandria through the night of Wednesday, June 12 in case there are homework assignments that night. John will present responses to the panel on the morning of Thursday, June 13th. Others are welcome to depart on Thursday morning. The project is expected to be dismissed by the review panel around 3:00 p.m. on Thu. June 13th

Attendees should make their own travel reservations. The Project Office will be making hotel reservations for the group, but you will need to pay for your room when you check in.

Note that several Metro rail lines including the line that runs to Alexandria will be closed all summer for reconstruction and improvements, so you will need to plan an alternate mode of transportation from the airport to Alexandria. More information and alternate transportation options can be found here
