Some of the CEE KPIs are proportions, some are numbers; would like for them to be consistentLizanne 
Submit panel for AAAS QMA-276 - Getting issue details... STATUS To address the recommendation about targeting new conferences, Craig would be willing to work with Kelly and John to develop a panel for AAASCraig Stewart

  • KPIs
    • Changed proportion to number in sustained underrepresented individuals using XSEDE resources and services via the portal
      • Would like to disaggregate the numbers so can compare portions to the national averages (e.g. women, Hispanic, etc)
    • Number of participant hours – should this be training hours? Can talk about the number of live training hours we deliver
      • (Number of participants at the first minute) x (number of hours)
      • Looking at trends over time and lets us do comparisons with other national trends
      • Need to get to a metric that is deeper/more intensive
      • Gathering participant info at live webinars is difficult but fine if there is set of assumptions that is defined
    • Need to make them consistent (meet with KG, Lorna, and Lizanne)

    • For the Computing for Change competition, XSEDE/Kelly will be selecting the teams/students

    • Evaluation is very expensive and labor intensive; struggle with striking the right balance
      • If we do evaluation, what don’t we do
      • Look at other sources of funding
    • Recommendation for new conferences
      • Craig would be willing to work with Kelly and John on submitting a Panel for AAAS
      • might be better to develop a relationship with a person (domain champion, etc) that then introduces to the community
