Sudhakar will talk about the Science Gateways Community Institute (SGCI), highlighting novel projects currently happening within SGCI. We'll talk about how we can leverage SGCI in our work, along with any suggestions we might communicate to SGCI for helping NIP communities, or any other topics of interest to the group.

Extended Developer Support: 0.25 FTE for 3-6 months.

Current EDS projects: A number of interesting areas relevant to NIP, Cloud Launch, COSMIC2, CitiSci.org, ND Watershed, SimCCS, Drug Side Effect Portal, CAIDA

Scientific Software Collaborative: Testbed for development of new gateways and gateway technologies. Help people to find gateways that will help them. Help people find tools to build gateways.

Community Engagement: become an affiliate of SGCI

Workforce: Help train workforce that can crate gateways.

Opportunities to engage with SGCI: Letters of collaboration, EDS, affiliate
